We love all kinds of burgers at Grill and Hearth, but our favorite way to make them, is to stuff them! Visit our store to see how our stuffer works and then use it to stuff your burgers with any filling you desire. Cook ‘em up on the grill of your choice, and enjoy juicy, thick burgers full of flavor!
Season the steak with salt and pepper, and marinate if desired. Sear the steak on high heat, 500 degrees at least. After you plate the steak we recommend topping it with a lump of butter or some blue cheese. Enjoy!
Just like the very efficient fire-brick ovens found in the ruins of Pompeii, and adapted for use in pizzerias around the world today, the EGG performs very efficiently with indirect heat.
In fact, the Big Green Egg bakes and roasts better and quicker than a wood fired oven ever could. The heat from the natural charcoal radiates within the thick ceramic walls of the dome, allowing your food and pizza to bake quickly and evenly.
There is no need to buy a high-priced pizza oven … you can bake and roast your way to culinary perfection by cooking with indirect heat using the ConvEGGtor™ Plate Setter and Pizza/Baking Stone. Experience a more intense flavor — than your kitchen oven.
Place the plate setter in the grill, feet down. Add the grid plate and pizza stone to the egg. Close the lid. Leave both vents fully open and preheat to 500-700 degrees F. Bon appétit!
Cooking salmon on the grill allows the natural oils to keep it moist but also create a slight crispiness on the outside. Here’s how:
- Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
- In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved. ...
- Preheat grill for medium heat.
- Lightly oil grill grate.
Pineapple –
2 teaspoons butter
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup rum
Cut the pineapple into rings, and carve out the core. Spray grill with cooking spray, and grill pineapple on 2-3 minutes per side until grill marks appear.
While the pineapple grills, heat the butter, sugar and rum in a small saucepan over a low heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly, around 2 minutes, and then remove the sauce from the heat. Cinnamon sugar is also an option!
Plate a pineapple ring, drizzle the sauce, and top with vanilla ice cream, if desired (we recommend it!)
